Tell Me Lies Season 2 x Hulu
I had the opportunity to shoot the Key-Art / Gallery for the 11 cast members of Hulu’s hit drama Tell Me Lies season 2. We shot everything over 2-days, and the cast was incredible to work with. Before the shoot, I spent hours learning as much as I could about the characters in the show, which included binge-watching season 1, reading through the season 2 scripts, and researching the social media for the show. I try to use everything I learn to build a connection with the talent and pull moments from the scripts and/or shows to direct them. I’ve found over the years that it means something to the talent, and I’ve taken a deep interest in the character they have been living with for months during production. It becomes a collaboration that always allows us to execute the creative brief and the creative assets that speak to the show that are not included in the brief. To me, that makes a difference, and it’s the real magic. Or I could just be lying about everything...lol
